"Everyone was really lovely, the location was perfect; it was close to the train station and close to Piccadilly Gardens. Really kind and lovely receptionists . Nothing to say there and The property itself is quite trendy and there's renovations going on, which wasn't too disruptive. Unfortunately, the amount of bathrooms in the the property are inadequate as there were only 2 available, one of the bathrooms had a detached toilet. The cleanliness of these bathrooms was lacking or simply too many...

"It wasn’t the Ritz but it wasn’t sold as that! Good value for money, everything was as described and our host was cheerful and very helpful. The karaoke was fun in the evening and we had a good reception from locals and other guests there too. A good place to stay while on the road or for onward travel! "

"Clean and practical, surroundings are lovely and building architecture. Appreciated the upgraded room. Shower needs to be warmer and more powerful. Checkout time could be better. Some of the bedding is a little worn as well but on the whole a pleasant stay."

"We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and only 1 room was available. The staff blamed Expedia and we will never know the truth of the matter. We ended up with having a Z bed to accommodate the 3rd adult. The bar was closed by 8.30PM when we got back to the hotel, and none of us could sleep until the early hours due to all the noise outside, people screaming and boy racers screaming past. "

"Great service, very kind and friendly check in. The rooms are simple and you have to pay for the towels, but then again- the price of accommodation definitely justifies the payment for extras. Has a bar, open until 11pm. And it is genuinely all you need for a night stay. Also offers breakfast, full english for £9.99. And it is perfectly located for the Monsal Trail and ither walks."

"Brilliant property! Really clean, excellent checking in and service throughout our stay. Only downside is the information given for parking. We ended up paying £28 because it wasn’t explained to us that it was free after a certain time. Should have cost us £8. Private parking company so nothing reception could do."
