The location is perfect for Novara (train station is 1 min walking distance, downtown is 10 mins walking distance and major grocery store is 10 mins walking distance). "This place was terrific - if you are at all caught up in the fast pace of life, you must stay at this property! Sleep in, play with Nero, the dog, take a swim, chat with Sylvia the manager, drink some wine, catch the sunset... I could go on and on. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas, or just read and sip on some beautiful Italian wine. If you choose to cook in, the kitchen is nicely appointed. ""La Paleologa" is a beautifully decorated apartment on a quite street at the edge of the the historic center of Casale. The apartment is modern, clean and well appointed and Mariella was a wonderful host. She provided numerous recommendations for restaurants and interesting local villages and sites which were very appreciated as we were quite unfamiliar with the area. We have stayed in many apartments throughout Italy and this was by far one of the best. Highly recommend."
