"We had a really lovely stay over 4 nights. John made us feel as if we were at home and with a friend. Although the room we had was not one of the ensuite rooms, we had a dedicated bathroom to ourselves, and we knew it would be like that when we chose the room and the rate. There was also a guest kitchen which was well equipped."

"Prasad and his family are the most generous hosts we have had the good fortune to meet. Being unfamiliar with what is meant in NZ by “backyard sleep-out”, I was not expecting to need to go into the main house for a shower, to have no hot water, or to have no running water in the kitchenette. When it came time for us to leave at the end of our stay, we felt like part of the family because of the shared facilities, and a solution to our error regarding the dates of our stay."
