"The property was pretty and the rooms were modern and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly. We told them we had to leave earlier than the breakfast time on the last day, and they brought a selection of food to us the evening before without us even asking. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "
