"The ad for this is misleading. Our rooms had cobwebs and bugs on the upper walls/ceiling. Needs a deep clean. But Eric is very nice and friendly. This hotel is inconvienent to get too (rough dirt roads). HOWEVER, we saw alot of koalas and kangaroos on the dirt roads around the property that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. "

"This is a convenient and well-appointed place to stop along the Great Ocean Road. It's a short, easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with supplies that many other hotels skimp on these days, such as a toaster, dishes, tea and coffee, and individual shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in biodegradable packaging. "We made a road trip in Great Ocean and had chosen this as our ending destination. It was amazingly beautiful scenery, clean, bed is very comfortable, easy to check in and the owner was replying us at 10pm when we had problem with the aircon. We travelled with 2 younger kids and they love this place. Free parking. Bring your own toiletries (for all the stay in Australia). Not near to Coles or Woolworths but they have small family mart that sell tidbits. Lots of restaurants "
