"A lovely property which is well situated. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise transfer from the apartment above. When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time."

Unfortunately due to some mix up I could not gain access, this after a 200 mile drive. I phoned the owner, luckily his number was in the details, and he told me The Clacks will remain shut for months and that hotels.com had not notified him of any booking. "Well since you’re asking! Everything was good, apart from just three things. The freezer didn’t work, the door didn’t close properly.
