"We had a wonderful stay at the Khan Duidar, the service was exceptional. Islam at the front desk helped arrange a driver and tour guide for us to visit the Great Pyramids, Dahshur, Saqqara and Memphis. He made our stay so special! The food was great, the view of the pyramids from our room and the rooftop deck was spectacular! Our tour guide Abdul was exceptional. There is a grocery store next to the building which was convenient."

"I mean ... There's a certain amount of "you get what you pay for" here. Pick-up from airport was free (if staying 3+ nights), the welcome was warm and everyone was lovely. Breakfast was a few dry things on a tray, along with a carton of juice, but take it up to the rooftop and you can have it with a view of the pyramids. Everyone in Cairo/Giza is after your money, so trying not to be ripped off can be quite a challenge - For example, the hotel owner took us to his friend's restaurant that he...
