"Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "

Very spacious, clean, well equipped and comfy beds! Pool and spa also fantastic and a lovely treat at the end of a day skiing! Loved the fun nature and style of the hotel and hope to return with my family as great for kids as well! "

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Charles. L’environnement est magnifique, Chamonix est facilement accessible en voiture ou en train. "Good stay in Chamonix. Check-in at 1700hrs is quite late and ahould be revised. As a seasoned traveler this is the first time I've ever seen such a late check-out followed by a 1000hrs check-out. Grateful that the check-out was extended to 1100hrs and yes the check-in time is indicated when making the selection for the hotel but just unfortunete. Overall nice stay at Balcon de Savoy."
