"The hotel was good overall. The walk up the hill from the train station was challenging with luggage. When we arrived, we waited about 20 minutes for someone to check us in. The sign at the desk advised we could call, however as we only had a data plan, we couldn’t. I walked the stairs and eventually found someone who could call the number. The small lift was helpful, and our room was big enough for a family of four. The beds were comfy, and the shower was good, though the room felt a bit dark....

"The property was lovely and we had a stunning view of the garden and lake from our balcony. The main patio off reception is gorgeous with seating areas and a fire - which was a bonus as it was chilly. The property is right on the promenade that takes you to the main strip. It's about a 10 minute walk along the promenade but the walk is beautiful next to the lake. "

"This hostel feels very clean and safe. The staff was very nice and helpful and breakfast included is a plus! I would say that this is pretty over priced for a hostel dormitory but it seems to be the only reputable option in the area. Overall would recommend! "

"Hotel Victoria is around a 3 minute walk from Glion station (cog train from Montreux train station which takes around 12 mins). Stunning views from our lakeside room. Room 3 has an interconnecting door to Room 2 and is not particularly well soundproofed. Due to health issues with our neighbour, little sleep was had on the first night. "Absolutely fantastic. And not a complaint, but you should be aware there is only one bathroom and one shower shared for 6 rooms. It was never an issue but good to know coming in. "

"If it wasn't for the stunning view from the balcony and the comfy bed I would have been very disappointed. The rooms are in urgent need of refurbishment to meet the standards expected at the price they charge. Here are my main gripes; No bath robes (only slippers - why?) "Lack of air conditioning made room uncomfortable on a very hot night. Other than that perfectly acceptable for a 3 Star Hotel."
