"My family and I needed a place to stay while visiting Williamsport to support our dad as he underwent major surgery and recovery. I found the Mountain House, saw the photos and it looked like just what we needed. And the house didn't disappoint! It feels like a home, which was exactly what we hoped for and needed - a place to relax in between hospital visits, and place to rest comfortably and make dinner. "This home was very lovely. It was very clean and well stocked. It has lots of cooking equipment and dishes. There was a cupboard of spices and two types of coffee pots. All the bedrooms were very spacious and set up nicely. The living room was very comfortable to lounge in around the fireplace. However, we spent a great deal of time in the dinning room where there was a great table perfect for playing games. I highly recommend this place to anyone. It was just beautiful! "

"My husband and I had a wonderful couples get-a-way weekend at Bluebird Hollow. The home is located in a small quiet village between the Pine Creek and the Pine Creek Rail trail and surrounded by mountain ridges. A very lovely setting. "We were in town for a swim meet at Bucknell. The house was perfect as listed. It worked for us as we needed to go back and forth to the natatorium several times a day so location was perfect. The neighborhood is super cute. The communication was great and the check in process super easy. If we are back for another swim meet would stray again"

"My daughter and I have been coming to the Williamsport area to go trout fishing and sight seeing. The property exceeded our expectations. It was very homey and comfortable. We loved having morning coffee on the deck, watching the wildlife go by. One morning 7 deer walked along the stream, just taking their time. What a sight. We can’t wait to come back next year."

This was close and convenient, but provided the unexpected benefit of giving the disorganized branch of the family a landing spot for visiting, prepping and catching up before and after the reunion.
