"I was extremely pleased with hotel de college! Beautiful hotel, well appointed room, very happy with the thermal baths right next door. My room also had a mini kitchen which was fantastic as a great to go kitchen basically across the street(and I was by myself doing the gr 65). I hate hotels who don't let you open the windows so this was also a plus. Best night of my trip so far!"

"We stayed at Cedric's property for three weeks, with friends coming to visit during that period. The house is really nicely set up to allow for entertaining and relaxing; the pool is the perfect temp, the house is cool during hot days and the living room and kitchen are spacious and well laid out. The bedrooms are large and cool during the night which was important for us - we prefer to sleep cold. Cedric was really helpful and suggested great local markets and restaurants. We realised (only after booking) that there are also michelin starred restaurants nearby, should you wish to dine out in those sort of places too. The local markets were really excellent and we found ourselves making good use of the kitchen. The furthest we really had to travel was a 20 min drive and that was entirely optional. The pool really made the experience for us; it's really relaxing to hang out there in the middle of the countryside. It's very private and you do feel like you can switch off. The place was clean (we also asked to have a cleaner midway through our stay). "

"The area was a little remote, but the house was exactly as described and plenty big enough for 3 family groups with a wide range in children’s ages. The outside areas worked brilliantly well, plenty of shade or sun as required. The area was really peaceful and we had deer wandering around the area. The property owner was really helpful with all our questions and responded really quickly. If I’m being picky due to the heatwave we would have appreciated. Air con in the downstairs bedrooms. "We spent almost a fortnight in this beautifully restored house right on the square in Castelsagrat. We had a wonderful time. It is very large house and very comfortable for 5 persons as it has 2 great bathrooms with very nice showers. There are 2 big bedrooms and there is really a 3rd ante-bedroom which is adjacent to one of 2 bathrooms. Through this ante-bedroom you reach the very spacious front bedroom looking out onto the Square. The 2nd bathroom, equally great bathroom with shower, has a small room containing the washing machine off it, and this bathroom serves the rear huge bedroom, overlooking the courtyard garden. The rooms have good shutters to keep the house cool as it can be warm in Summertime, and it was during our stay. We did not use the pool really as we were a party of 4 adults and were part of a big party of visitors to the area and had access to a larger pool during our visit. But it would be suitable for children, especially in the heat it would be a welcome facility. If you do travel with children, be sure you have a tv package like Netflix or equivalent as there is a tv appliance but there is no tv signal here. The rear courtyard is well shaded and cool, and we ate outside on a few occasions. The house has a good kitchen and a nice large fridge freezer. And there is a choice of 2 coffee machines, we used the filter coffee maker mostly. So, all in all, the facilities are very good. "Wonderful location with splendid views over river from large room. We extended to 8 nights so obviously good but tiny tiny wardrobe so clothes around room. However , we saw other rooms had much larger later so should have asked to change. Excellent overall"

"Our three week stay at Mandarou was a wonderful opportunity to remember that it’s the sights, sounds, and scents of the countryside that provide the best opportunities to relax and enjoy every moment of life. Exploration of the bastides, many within 30 - 90 minutes of Mandarou, provides many opportunities to explore the history of the area. Bike rides and walks through the many quiet country roads was a highlight of our visit, with something new spotted around every corner. The night skies are uninterrupted with light, so star gazing is an amazing experience. Joel and Chantal were wonderful hosts! Both were always welcoming and very helpful. They embody the essence is Mandarou. In short, our visit was everything and more that we hoped for."
