"Staff was super nice and friendly"

"The dinner was the best bit and the hosts were kind and welcoming! Everything else was a bit less than average. We were looking for a short stay with a spa and had used the filter in hotels.com to select the B&B. On arrival we were very surprised that the spa is not included in the room we had booked and were forced to upgrade. This was extra strange because the hot tub is not attached to the "suite" as you might expect. Instead its directly next to the main entrance which is also the kitchen. Not very relaxing to sit there when all the other guests are parking the cars and saying hello as they walk past. We were also a bit unlucky with the Stink bugs during the period we were there. They were everywhere, even in the bed and around the room. The room needs some fly screens to keep them outside. The room smelt a mix of damp and too much air freshner, the barhroom was in the corridor and has a tiny shower. All in all a bit disappointing but im still giving an ok score because the original price was reasonable. Just keep in mind that adding dinner and an hour of hot tub will tripple the initial bill of a standard room."

"I was extremely pleased with hotel de college! Beautiful hotel, well appointed room, very happy with the thermal baths right next door. My room also had a mini kitchen which was fantastic as a great to go kitchen basically across the street(and I was by myself doing the gr 65). I hate hotels who don't let you open the windows so this was also a plus. Best night of my trip so far!"

"We stayed at Cedric's property for three weeks, with friends coming to visit during that period. The house is really nicely set up to allow for entertaining and relaxing; the pool is the perfect temp, the house is cool during hot days and the living room and kitchen are spacious and well laid out. The bedrooms are large and cool during the night which was important for us - we prefer to sleep cold. Cedric was really helpful and suggested great local markets and restaurants. We realised (only after booking) that there are also michelin starred restaurants nearby, should you wish to dine out in those sort of places too. The local markets were really excellent and we found ourselves making good use of the kitchen. The furthest we really had to travel was a 20 min drive and that was entirely optional. The pool really made the experience for us; it's really relaxing to hang out there in the middle of the countryside. It's very private and you do feel like you can switch off. The place was clean (we also asked to have a cleaner midway through our stay). "

"We spent almost a fortnight in this beautifully restored house right on the square in Castelsagrat. We had a wonderful time. It is very large house and very comfortable for 5 persons as it has 2 great bathrooms with very nice showers. There are 2 big bedrooms and there is really a 3rd ante-bedroom which is adjacent to one of 2 bathrooms. Through this ante-bedroom you reach the very spacious front bedroom looking out onto the Square. The 2nd bathroom, equally great bathroom with shower, has a small room containing the washing machine off it, and this bathroom serves the rear huge bedroom, overlooking the courtyard garden. The rooms have good shutters to keep the house cool as it can be warm in Summertime, and it was during our stay. We did not use the pool really as we were a party of 4 adults and were part of a big party of visitors to the area and had access to a larger pool during our visit. But it would be suitable for children, especially in the heat it would be a welcome facility. If you do travel with children, be sure you have a tv package like Netflix or equivalent as there is a tv appliance but there is no tv signal here. The rear courtyard is well shaded and cool, and we ate outside on a few occasions. The house has a good kitchen and a nice large fridge freezer. And there is a choice of 2 coffee machines, we used the filter coffee maker mostly. So, all in all, the facilities are very good. "Wonderful location with splendid views over river from large room. We extended to 8 nights so obviously good but tiny tiny wardrobe so clothes around room. However , we saw other rooms had much larger later so should have asked to change. Excellent overall"
