"Most interesting renovation, peaceful location, rural views. Well equipped. Nice housekeeper with good communication. However the basement room was damp with mould and plants growing out of one wall. There were no basement windows which could be safely left open and the room was noisy due to dehumidifier running constantly. This property would not be suitable for small children."

"We were in France for an emotional weekend after selling our beloved second home, so we stopped here for one night as a treat. What a perfect place to stay. It was peaceful, fabulously clean, and incredibly warm and cosy. We slept so well! I wish we could have stayed longer but we intend to return."

"If you want your holiday house to be immaculate, minimalist and stylish, don’t stay here. If you like comfort, homeliness and books, do stay here. We loved it. Especially coming home from a long walk on the beach to an old style log fire, and tea with a slice of Louisa’s amazing apple cake. But what makes Joel’s place so special is its location. We would certainly come back - next time with the grandkids."
