"The cabin was in a very beautiful location with breathtaking views. Also, beautiful on the inside with all the necessary amenities. Kevin had great communication and was very thorough on how to navigate the house and local area in their guidebook. Please listen when they say get a 4-wheel drive car. The driveway was steep and no joke when it snows. Hot tub was a nice touch, just wished it was in complete working order, some jets were not working properly. "We had the best stay! This cabin is so cozy and wonderful! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the hot tub is delightful, the view of the mountains from the deck is so inspiring, and the endless visits of birds to the bird feeders and the peanuts we brought were very entertaining. David, the host, has thought of everything to make your stay perfect. This was our third time to Deer Creek cabin and we will definitely be back again!"

"Cool place perched high with great views. Location was a challenge to get to with high altitude very icy switchback roads. You’ll have to drive a way to get to anything but that’s also part of the charm. "

We had frequent visits from deer right in the driveway and yard. It was great to have everything we needed with the kitchen, laundry and deck. Stacy and Mark were responsive and gave us recommendations on places to hike, which we went to Staunton State Park, and it was a beautiful hike! "

"Overall the experience was good. Staff were excellent, facilities were good, rooms had everything we needed. Unfortunately my family room was located on the ground floor, next to the social area, with a speaker outside the room door playing round music, you could clearly hear people walking in and out of the building, very noisy. I asked if we could be moved to a quieter room, which they did"
