"The house is a charming old house with all the aminities one needs. Every day the pool is cleaned by Gabrielle, a very nice old man. The house is beautifully located in the hills above de valey of Spoleto and in fact on the pilgrims road between Spoleto and Assisi. We made some beautiful walks. The garden is shaded en well suited for dogs. Ours loved it. We certainly hope to return."

"Lovely house outside of Spoleto. Better place for summer because the pool was closed during our visit and the outdoor space not usable because of cool weather. There were also no instructions for renters. "

"Prachtig gelegen in het buitengebied van het mooie Spoleto. Rust en ruimte. Vrij uitzicht vanuit het gras naast de voordeur. Binnen ruimte genoeg. "We had a fantastic 12-night stay in this spacious 4-bed house! Marcello and all the other staff were really friendly and extremely helpful, they made sure that we had a lovely time in this beautiful rustic getaway. We cannot thank them enough! "The house was as described and shown in the images. If you have mobility problems beware the short but relatively steep drive and the 10 or so steps up to the patio and entrance. The weather was pretty hot but the house was naturally cool with thick stone walls. "Camerino is closed completely because of the earthquake and will not be reopened in the near future. The hotel is first rate and in a beautiful setting but not really convenient for tourism on the doorstep. However, if you want a wedding or a small conference, it would be terrific. The restaurant is top notch and not expensive for what you get. "

A peaceful & authentic stay

"We had a wonderful time staying at Maria Rosa’s as a family of 6 with 4 kids 11 & younger. It was a great price & had everything we needed for a week long stay. It was a nice place to use as a home base for exploring the area of Umbria (Don’t miss Assisi! It is amazing!) There was a well loved pool table & foosball table that our kids greatly enjoyed. We were able to cook with all the pots & pans we needed & the water was hot for showers. Keep in mind you definitely need a car & this is a well loved & well lived in flat so you get what you pay for which we were grateful for. Our highlight was walking up the road & watching the sun rise! The pool looked like it would be enjoyable if you stayed during the hot season, we missed out on that but stayed cozy with the wall heaters instead. If you are looking for a space to make a home base during your exploration of Umbria & also love the peace & beauty of being nestled in olive groves, this is it! Thanks Maria Rosa! "
