"The appartment is lovely, very clean and everything you need. It also has a great garden. Patrick who welcomes you is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Location wise is perfect for the beach, old town and Marina. Negatives are the you have to chase the host for information, They said they could arrange transfers and when i chased to tell them our flight times, they then said they could no longer supply transfers due to car issues. "I left right away, stayed in hotel. House was misrepresented. Not large house, but apt, no ocean view, no TV, no 2nd bathroom, not beach front... 20 min away. Heavy musty smell which was unbearable, he said "I have no mold" his word, not mine. Entrance to place was not the front door, but through like a garage which was filled with junk,hoses,stuff. Door to apt was covered in turf, did not lock properly, did not open all the way, he told me don't worry, it's safe here. There's a 2nd apt. in this...

"Nice villa with easy access to everything. Short drive to Carvoeiro if you need a little more pace. A few fantastic beaches are within range. We visited in Oct. and there were a lot of flies in and around the home but the home and pool were in great shape. The host is accessible and responds quickly. A very pleasant stay."

"Burgau is a great family holiday destination with a gorgeous beach and lots of restaurants cafes etc. The lower appartment was super clean and a nice size with air conditioning which worked well. It was a quick easy walk to the beach but quiet at night- maybe thanks to the shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was brilliant- lovely big space which was shared with my parents who stayed in the appartment above us.. we may not have enjoyed sharing with people we didn’t know. "This wonderful, spacious apartment is so conveniently located with only a short walk to the beach, lots of shops and the spectacular boardwalk overlooking the Mediterranean.
