"Cabbiavoli was the gathering place for our two week celebration with family and friends for my husband’s retirement. We were within an hour of every place we wanted to visit (Florence, Siena, Piza, Volterra) and even got to do the Cinque Terre hike, albeit a long day but so worth the two hour drive time! The train being so close made all excursions possible. Wineries are very close and within driving distance. Cabbiavoli itself is loaded with history and its grounds and views are breathtaking....

"We stayed one week in one of the appartments outside of the castle. We had the big one (No. 1.B) with 4 bedrooms. So a lot of space for 4 people like us, it might be a bit more cosy with the supposed 8 people max. capacity. The environment around the castle is great, pure Tuscan, great views of the countryside and most of the Tuscan attractions are close by to be reached within a daytrip. "My wife and I both loved this property. The host (Gianni) was responsive to any questions we had. Gianni's parents (Carlo & Paula) live in the adjacent main house and were extremely hospitable. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better location or host/s. We would recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit Tuscany. "

"Wonderful location!!! Everything within walking distance. Friendly staff, clean modern room. Shower needs repairing. Will definitely return to stay here. If you are driving to the hotel, It’s a ZTL zone so contact the hotel to make arrangements for your car to be garaged. Don’t need a car here. It is in the best location!!!"

Definitely stay here in Siena

"Great hotel. Professional, friendly, helpful staff in all positions. Nice room, beautiful views. The only tricky part is parking. Make sure you have a definite plan in place before you arrive at the top of the mountain. You may not drive into the restricted area just past the hotel. The hotel does have small lots and valet right in front of the door (although it looks like a no parking zone)."

"Hotel was great for a quick stop through our EU trip. We had three rooms and the staff was great! We enjoyed food and drinks for the bar and everything was delicious! They even have a 24hr sauna which is nice after traveling all day! Beautiful area, wish we had more time here! The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had the whole trip and included in stay! "
