"We had a truly great time at this castle. It was everything we had hoped for during our stay. The castle is updated while keeping a lot of it's original charm. Driving to it was so scenic, with tons of green rolling hills to drive through and an olive tree lined path just before you get to the castle. It is not very far from Siena. And the church bells from the clock tower were very relaxing. Highly recommended."

"This was our third time staying in this castle apartment. It’s a lovely little piece of heaven. We love everything about it. The views are simply spectacular! We love the kitchen and prepared several meals while there. The location is great and the town is so very cute. There are great restaurants all around and it’s an easy drive to lots of other little towns, restaurants, and shops and wineries. We like going to the market day in the Piazza and to the Coop for little bits of groceries. ...

"Nicola was a welcoming and efficient host responding quickly to enquiries and needs. The castle is a great Tuscan experience in a beautiful location throwing you back in time. We rented the entire property that offered needed air conditioning needed during a very hot spell and a perfectly refreshing pool. "Cabbiavoli was the gathering place for our two week celebration with family and friends for my husband’s retirement. We were within an hour of every place we wanted to visit (Florence, Siena, Piza, Volterra) and even got to do the Cinque Terre hike, albeit a long day but so worth the two hour drive time! The train being so close made all excursions possible. Wineries are very close and within driving distance. Cabbiavoli itself is loaded with history and its grounds and views are breathtaking....

"Elegant hotel in a great location but lacking in amenities. Also, the pictures online are deceiving as they give the impression that the Salla delle Feste is the grand entrance when in fact it is situated away from the lobby and it was closed for repairs. "

"My favorite stay on our honeymoon in Italy! They even gave us with a free upgrade to a suite. I loved this hotel and only regret that we didn’t stay longer. The whole property was gorgeous and I loved hearing nothing but nature during the day. Their breakfast buffet was pretty great too. Would love to come in the summer so I could enjoy the pool but walking through their olive groves was lovely still. They have a lot of outdoor seating that would make a perfect spot to read a book. We ate at their restaurant for dinner and it was delicious! It is about a 15 minute car ride from the city center though so I wouldn’t recommend walking there (unless you are fine with a 35-40 min walk but there is a bus stop a 4 minute walk away from the hotel that’s convenient if you want to make a trip into town if you don’t have a car. I did pick this hotel though because I wanted a little getaway from the town center but not too far and this was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. Would definitely love to visit again and would recommend to anyone visiting Siena! "
