"The property is an easy drive from Florence , located in beautiful surroundings with the rolling hills of Tuscany all around. We were able to explore Siena & multiple small centuries old towns. A car is a must here to go anywhere including Impruneta.The lodging is ample size for a family of 4 or 5. Loved that Mattia has a washer available for laundry. Mattia was a great host , made wonderful suggestions on places to go & was super easy to work with. Would recommend. Teri W from KY USA"

"We have just returned from a wonderful 10 night stay at Porcilia. The property was exactly as advertised and Francesca was a very welcoming and helpful host. The property was clean and well equipped. The pool was excellent and loved by all our party! The pool and the grounds were all very well maintained! We would highly recommend a stay at Porcilia!!"

"It was a perfect home base for my husband and I for daytripping around Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, and a welcome break from staying at a hotel. The town is close to the property, and an easy stop for breakfast and coffee on our way to other destinations. Unfortunately it was raining most of the days we were there, so we did not get to enjoy the exterior as we had hoped.Note to others: the street to the farmhouse is not paved and there are many potholes, so drive slowly and carefully!"

"The house is picture perfect - and the views are absolutely stunning. As others have said, to get to it, you need to drive down a bit of bumpy dirt road (so having a SUV would be a wise choice), but once you get there l, the pure serenity and peacefulness of the Tuscan hills await you. "The apartment is at the heart of the small village, central to several great restaurants and practically across the street from the incredible 11th century abbey. The place was very clean and has been recently renovated, but still had a very historic feel to it. Emanuel, our host, was very friendly and gracious. He offered several personal recommendations to restaurants and a wine tasting at a nearby castle, all of which were great! Would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a wonderful place. It was clean and spacious. It was well stocked. It even had bread and jam for us. It had a kitchen well-stocked with pots, pans, silverware and plates. The owner, Daniella, runs the clothing store in the same building and was very accessible and helpful. It is close by restaurants and shops and was even a nice sized Pam Local supermarket just a few doors away."

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns sehr gute Empfehlungen von sehenswerten in der Nähe geschickt, welche perfekt auf uns gepasst haben. "We felt a bit misled by the listing. It wasn’t disclosed that WiFi was sporadic at best; nonexistent at worst. The delightful “living room” with the “fireplace” shown in the photos, was in a detached building, completely unusable in March. We also had a 100 weekly fuel charge that wasn’t disclosed. But the view from the patio over the Tuscan Hills was spectacular, especially as Spring arrived. DO have Serena cook dinner for you! She is a treasure! 100 for"
