I rarely write reviews but it is well warranted. Property serene. Great views of the ocean from the balcony. Spacious well appointed apartments. Pool accessible to all guest but rarely used so I had it to myself. Host Rainer was great. We couldn’t find the resort in the dead of night but he got a friend whose first language is English to try to guide us. Even though we ended up figuring it out I thought that was nice. We were completely out of gas and he brought us some and told us to just return the filled can under his boat. The hand held shower was broken on arrival and we let him know and within a few hours it was fixed. The sea breeze and fans were enough for me to stay cool but the volcano bodies in my party were pleased. Any thing that could have been better were minor, like broken knife with loose hilt, was an easy fix that I’m sure would have been resolved had I mentioned it. The last thing I’d like to mention is we had a late flight out of Montego Bay. We asked for a late check out but our apartment needed to be cleaned for guests coming in in the afternoon. Rainer asked us to leave by 11 so it could be cleaned but offered us an unused apartment to wait the next few hours so we didn’t have to spend the time in our car. I’ve been blessed to travel all over the US Caribbean and Europe staying in 5 star hotels, resorts private homes with staff. By far Rainer wins the spot for BEST HOST going above and beyond.
