"Wonderful apartment that lives up to the pictures and description. Great location! The check in process is thru an app and detailed instructions were sent via Whatsapp. I believe there are 78 steps to climb so be aware of that. It wasn't terrible. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and two queen beds. Should be very comfortable for 2 couples for a family. The kitchen is in the loft and fully stocked. The only confusing thing for me was the airconditioner/thermostat. We didn't really need it...

"Nice clean apt, be aware there are steep stairs to the apartment and the key was a little tricky. It was about 15 min walk to the city center "

"Small but handy apartment that made it easy to her around the city by walking or tram. Carlotta was really easy to deal with. The spiral staircase could be a challenge to the larger person."

"30th anniversary trip ! Arts and crafts was perfect location in Firenza! Away from the main square but only a short walk. Which we preferred . "This is a great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the cultural areas in Florence! Short walks to train station, Duomo, Uffizi, and Academia. It’s right in the heart of the central market, where shopping stalls are set up daily, and where you can find many restaurants. It is on the top floor with no elevator (as are many places in Italy), so bear that in mind when choosing for accessibility and luggage. "

"This unit was clean and comfortable. There are lots of levels to maneuver through, but it is charming. Unfortunately, the dryer was out of service during our stay, but the manager provided us with a drying rack. "

"Very nice place, not too far from train station but a further walk to most places. Not many places to eat around but we walked about 20 -30 mins and found something."

"If you wanna see everything in Florence choose this hotel. Defiantly the best location. They take care of your car but pretty expensive like 35 to 50 euros for 24hrs depends on your car’s size. Whatever I say it’s less to explain how good the hotel is. Very clean very professional and friendly stuff. They made our stay unforgettable."

"The hotel was located on a quiet street on the perimeter of the central historic where sites such as the Duomo and the Ufizi are found. We loved the location as it was quiet and only a 5 minute walk to excellent restauants and 10 minutes to the historic central. The hotel has a nice blend of traditional and modern decor. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful in providing restaurant recommendations. Our garden-view room was much larger than we typically have seen in hotels in Italy. Orto De Medici is a well-priced gem. "

Above and beyond

"It’s the best location for eating, drinking, shopping and seeing the history of it all. It’s a boutique style hotel with an awesome rooftop bar and restaurant and view. We had a 24 hour delay back to the US due to weather and the hotel staff accommodated our every need from transportation to other things to do while we spent an extra day there, to include assistance with opening a few bottles of wine for us. Emmanuel was even on the phone with airlines trying to assist us in rebooking our alternative flights back to the US. Can’t wait to stay there again during our next visit and will recommend them to all our friends. Ciao’. "
