"Our stay was great! From the moment we walked into the lobby the staff greeted us and was friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby all day. The bar by the pool was a nice addition. They made us a delicious strawberry daiquiri. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. "

"We checked out after one sleepless night. Our room was so loud inside it felt like we were in a nightclub, but worse, because it was a mixture of 3-4 nearby clubs and bars music. The hostel itself hadn’t even started any live music yet when we arrived. I don’t know how the Hostel can actually charge money for this room, let alone nearly 100 dollars. "Although I know the place is just for spending the night my family and I believe there is a lack of quality in the minimum expected standards: The charged us for being 2 adults and 2 kids, still there are no enough amenities and linen for all of us. TV signal didnot work, if there was a major problem was not advice. "Balsa Surf Camp is like staying with family! It has a wonderful atmosphere, and the location is nice and quiet within a very easy walk to town. For a surfing adventure, everything is at your fingertips and the team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the daily yoga, thank you to the wonderful instructor Darcy Lynch. I will visit Montanita again, and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere other than Balsa. "
