Pegasus Bridge and the D Day landing beaches are all within easy reach and museums are very interesting. Best place to stay when visiting Bayeux
"Absolutely perfect place to stay! Close to Bayeux, the chateau is beautiful and very well-maintained, on a very large estate. Our room was beautifully decorated, quiet and dark with a very comfortable bed and top quality bed linens and comforter. The bathroom was brand new, gleaming, with generous amenities. The main building reception has freshly baked cookies, water with lemon and mint. Staff is welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend "
