"We highly recommend Mai Tai Bora Bora for (premium) overwater bungalow experience. We jumped off our deck and went right to snorkeling. You can also rent paddleboards and motor boats. Water was so clear and beautiful views! The staff was so helpful and rooms were clean and had everything we needed like fridge. Two restaurants on site including a beach view one. "We will cherish the view from our upper level apartment (Sculpture) and view deck for a long long time. It was quite spectacular. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable with AC in both bedrooms. There is an adequately equipped kitchen and large bathroom. Mr. Yrondi’s paintings and statutes adorn the apartment. "This is one of a kind property. We have travelled a lot and this would rate close to, if not at the top. Nir the owner has done an amazing job with his cottages to the point there has been articles written about them in travel magazines. The bathroom in particular is phenomenal. Nir is also extremely attentive to all the guests needs, going out if his way to help. Definitely staying there again when coming back to Bora Bora!!!"

Fabulous stay and service.

"We arrived late in the dark due to several plane delays. We were able to communicate these changes with managers. They were fast to communicate going up and beyond to help navigate our arrival. In addition, they spoke with our car rental group to let them know our situation. We did not have a chance to eat after being in airports over 7 hours. The managers provided us with snacks, fresh bread slices and fish salad and freshly cut mango! It was delicious and so appreciated. It had been a long day."

"We needed a quiet beautiful spot to rest and this place was amazing, we had our privacy and peace and quiet with the beautiful bay and mountains around us. The only suggestion we have is to have cooking utensils like a spatula and tongs and dish towels We did run out of propane and they came rather promptly to replace with full tank"

"This was an ABSOLUTELY terrific place to stay! It’s spacious, super clean, and newly modeled. We enjoyed three nights here with another couple before starting a week-long sailing trip . Beautiful views! Roomy porch for watching the sunset over your own private wharf and dock. Across the street is a well-stocked grocery store for easy shopping. Located nicely a bit out of town for privacy and quiet . Christian, the owner, is SO professional and helpful with local tips. We will DEFINITELY come back!!! Jennifer from California "

Not our best VRBO experience

"We arrived late afternoon and were unable to open the lock box to access the key. Our USA phone would not connect a local call so we had to find someone with a phone willing to call the local cohost to get us in. We found out that we had been given the wrong code. We loved the folding glass doors opening our room up to a beautiful view. The other two wood doors to access the bathroom and the front door were such a tight fit we had trouble opening and closing them. The outdoor kitchen is a good idea but it was constantly flooded with water during this time of year. It was also poorly equipped with dishes and towels and cleaning products. We did enjoy the use of the kayaks! It would have been nice to have a couple of plastic lounge chairs to sit in on the deck."
