"This is a lovely place to stay. The Cornmill is right down by the shore of the Cree estuary and Garlieston is a fabulous old village with the Harbour Inn providing good food (advisable to book, though, as our landlady kindly told us). Lovely walks, bike rides and places of historical interest in the vicinity. Katy at the Cornmill was kindness itself - her breakfasts are fantastic and if there's anything else you need, you only needed to ask. Hoping to go back, not least to take advantage of her...

"We had a lovely few days at Stellock house, helped by decent winter weather. The house is in a perfect out-of-the-way location but not too remote. The garden is large and safe for dogs, there’s a really nice brazier for an outdoor evening fire and we appreciated the provision of logs and kindling at this time of year. "We had everything we could Have thought of, the lodge was clean and tidy and everything was provided. We loved the stay and the park Was well kept, I would like to just mention the food, my little one is curious soul and perhaps putting food in second bedroom that could be locked out of the way, as We didn’t check, but he Did"
