"I came here with my teen aged kids, 19 and 15. What a relief when we walked into the lobby and we all shared the same sentiment (this place is magical). Then we got to our room, and the kids said "good job mom". There was complimentary root beer floats in the lobby, something different each evening. Everything is walkable. I am really doing this review with apprehension as i want to keep this place a secret and to myself. It is warm, friendly, welcoming, helpful, kind and just all around extremely hospitable (rules - for the environment). I travel 100,000 miles a year so I understand hotels. I can spot a lonesome hair in the room, not here, this place is spotless and has every amenity you need. Extra pillows and blankets are standard, and kitchenette. Even a gameroom! Watch out for the bears!!"

"We stayed in a rustic tent cabin. The beds were super comfortable, the space heater worked great, and the whole place was so peaceful and quaint!"

"Wonderful hotel! We had the site and it was perfect for our family...i wish we would had stayed for a week! Town is cute. Highly recommend Sierra Strange for coffee and souvenirs. River right behind the hotel. "
