"We have stopped in these villas before and like on my last review we knew that the villas are only basic which is reflected in the price . "Windy Ridge is a lovely, spacious property with fantastic views over the countryside to the sea. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped for self-catering. Having said that, the lovely village of Pissouri is a short (steep) walk away and there were numerous very good restaurants there, and at Pissouri Bay, a few minutes drive down to the sea. The outside space is great and the sizeable pool was cleaned twice a week. Communication with the hosts, Sarah and Keith was very easy and quick....

"The 2 week stay we booked in this amazing villa in Pissouri, Cyprus was everything we could have wished for. The Villa was very accurately listed and immaculately clean. A friendly atmosphere could be found in the village with excellent restaurants and amenities. Len the pool man came twice a week and was very friendly. "Lovely quiet location and a nice house, however just tiny things let it down , outdoor furniture in poor condition amongst other things the main issue was gaining access to the property we arrived at 10.30pm nobody was here to meet us and a code for the key safe hadn’t been given out , when earlier the week before we flew out I enquired about this. Also we had to find our way to the communal swimming pool by asking other people there is no directions as to where it is. These are minor complaints...

"This villa was everything we needed. It was only about 30mins drive from airport, 30 mins to Adonis waterfalls, 40 mins to Limassol and 1.5hrs to North Cyprus. The villa it's self was so quite and peaceful. It offered all the amenities we needed and the pool was perfect. Plenty places to sit and relax, including the roof top terrace which had amazing views. We may visit again in the near future as we just couldn't fault the villa or the host."

The villa itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need, beds and sofas are comfortable and the outside pool area was stunning, with well maintained green space & fruit trees and plenty of outdoor seating. We stayed in February so nights are cold, we couldn’t figure out how to turn the radiators on but the heating function on the air con was more than adequate for warming the rooms....

The villa is situated on a junction between the main road and the road leading into a housing estate. The traffic noise is horrendous. I had to buy ear plugs to enable me to sleep. The numerous gaps in the bushes mean that pedestrians have a full view of the pool area. "Enjoyed our stay here. Some property issues (fridge broken but they replaced it the next month t, air conditioning unit leaking) but the room was nice and the pool very clean. Would have been difficult to get a sun lounger if it had been any fuller. Food on site was better than expected. Bizarrely wouldn’t give us two keys for the room which is odd when there is more than one of you and you might want to go off and do different things!"
