"The view of the ocean was stunning, the gardens were lush and peaceful and away from the crowds, but only a 8 min walk into town, we could cook and eat out easily. It also had parking!There is a winding staircase to the bedrooms but it was fine for us! Loved staying there and Luigi was a wonderful host!"

" Thanks for hosting us in this beautiful Villa. We enjoyed a great week in this historical house. Built over 100 years ago it felt like a very authentic Italian experience. The house was recently fully renovated and decorated with top standard modern appliances and beautiful antique furniture and decorations. "We had an excellent time at this unique property. The views and location were amazing. It was a short walk to the old town part of Monterosso for groceries, restaurants, or shopping. Also, I would highly recommend the hike to Vernazza, but don’t forget to bring the hiking poles that the property provided."

"Beautiful spot to stay and explore that part of Italy. Winding road to get there but worth it. Very comfortable furniture throughout and well maintained. We didn’t cook meals, but the kitchen was well stocked. Just telling friends that you stayed in a castle built in the 1400’s is worth it. "

"This rental was breathtaking! We traveled to Cinque Terre via train to Monterosso and the rental was located just a few minutes from there. The climb to the rental is no joke but absolutely worth it!! We felt like we were staying in a mansion/castle on the cliffs. "The house is as lovely as it looks in the photos. It has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. The views were spectacular overlooking the sea and mountains. The hosts are available and friendly and even though it is attached to another vacation house they have made it easy for all with separate parking and entrances so you feel like you are in a private place. "The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped and mostly private. Not sure if the apartment above is a rental but the people were extremely noisy. Check in was a bit of an issue as the sat nav said we had arrived and we were still about a mile away. Luckily we texted the manager and he came and found us. The pool was beautiful and the manager came most days to clean it and sweep the garden. I would certainly recommend staying here. Oh, and the view was exceptional. Thank you"
