"Lovely villa with character. Large shared living space. Rooms large - twin on ground floor 2 en suite rooms one almost a mezzanine and one accessed through a separate door outside the building. We didn’t try the sauna or pool as it was February. Kitchen has everything to cater for a large group with a big dining table.Log burner was fantastic.Great location halfway up the valley side above Monchique."

"What a lovely villa! Spent 10 days here with my husband and son, and elderly parents, so it was perfect for them as everything on one level, with ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers. Tons of space, large bedrooms, comfy beds,and pillows, and gorgeous outside spaces. Very well equipped kitchen, basic condiments, water, oil, tea bags and coffee were all there too. Pool was cold, but it was end of October, so to be expected. Great communication with Marc the owner, who gave us lots of tips of...

"Overall this villa was brilliant even if there were quite a few stairs due to quirky layout. Had a food delivery first day which is good idea although rest of time we shopped at a Lidl which was much cheaper and only 3km away. Local beach was excellent as was the cafe/restaurant there at Praia da Molhe and only a short walk. Be careful if using oven in kitchen at same time as hob for example as will trip the fuse box but easy to reset. Rental company were very efficient. We had ages ranging from...

"We were very happy with our stay in the villa, which was well equipped with all that was really needed, especially in the kitchen. There was plenty of space for us all , with our 2 daughters and partners staying with us. Pretty villa in a quiet area of Carvoeiro , would stay again. "

"Had a great experience at Casa Monkey Business. The place is perfectly situated between Aljezur and the beach, and was a great home for our weekend stay. Communication was quick and efficient, and the place was comfortable. Would come again!"

"We really enjoyed the attractive house and the beautiful terraces overlooking the beautiful garden with an enormous diversity of plants and trees. We understand why the name Small World was chosen. The location is great. Quiet but within easy driving distance of a number of beautiful beaches and the location town of Silves. From the house you can also take beautiful walks in the immediate area. "Overall the property and location were good. However, the villa would benefit from some "routine maintenance" which would have given it 5 stars from us. When we arrived, the dishwasher didn't work. We reported it and 3 days later, they took the old one away and left us with nothing for the rest of our stay. When we used the sink to hand wash the dishes, it leaked dirty water all over the kitchen floor due to poor plumbing. One of the air conditioning units needed maintenance as it sprayed ice...
