"Amazing guest house. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I immediately felt "at home". The room was lovely with a balcony where you can sit and enjoy a coffee. There are some amazing restaurants 10mins walk away and a cafe with a massive selection or coffees and bakes treats just around the corner. Also free parking right in front is an added bonus. "

"My first time at a “guest house” so not aware of the fact that there is no staff on site whatsoever except for designated check ins/outs. No amenities, no receptionist, no housekeeping, no security, etc. I left a shirt behind by mistake and couldn’t go back to pick it up because the housekeeping staff was on site for only a few hours and the receptionist was on site only when someone was checking in…not for a shift (9-3) for example. Extra firm (hard) beds and no noise protection from guests...

"I loved my stay. The room was clean and the bathroom impeccable. We even had a local rooster as an alarm clock. I would definitely stay here again in the future. It is very close to all of the important beaches of the area. "

"Location bellissima, ambiente interno molto vecchio e trascurato. Alla sera mancava acqua calda per la doccia e teli da bagno... colazione molto spartana, ultimo giorno che partivamo alle 7.30, niente colazione, fino alle8.00 non avevano niente, neanche un caffè....."

"Cheap-ish, hard bed, nice pillows, great location, free parking, cafe downstairs serving full-english breakfast annd sharing the best tips for dinner.. did i miss something? Could recommend for over-night stay and surely would use it again. to improve - i think ventilation in bathroom wasn't really there, but... don't sit in bathroom :)"

"Lovely villa with character. Large shared living space. Rooms large - twin on ground floor 2 en suite rooms one almost a mezzanine and one accessed through a separate door outside the building. We didn’t try the sauna or pool as it was February. Kitchen has everything to cater for a large group with a big dining table.Log burner was fantastic.Great location halfway up the valley side above Monchique."
