"Beautiful location, in a lovely village. The rooms are in an old but very well restored building, and the rooms were very well appointed. Great, very comfortable beds, good size wardrobes and even an exercise bike in the entrance! Only minor comments are that the shower cubicle wasn't the biggest and the breakfast had a limited (but good) selection"

"Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings."

"Difficult to find the entrance to the hotel. Very little signage. Once we did find it in they were nice while checking us in. Clearly a little outdated. Very strange location. Restaurant was not able to take us because we apparently needed a reservation to be made the night before. Which is fine however we had just arrived and there is no where else to go nearby. Aside from the pizza place across the street that they directed us towards after they told us we could not stay at the restaurant. Did have WiFi, parking and hot water. There was also a lot of noise. An event or party that happened well into the morning hours, which great for them, but the walls are apparently thin because we did not sleep that night because of this. Staircase to the room is narrow and spiral so beware if you have issues with stairs. We did end up leaving this reservation early and finding a place in a less secluded location. If you are looking for a style apartment style small room, this is for you. Very small town hotel. Nice staff, just not our style and not a great representation of the pictures on line. We regret not taking photos to represent what we saw but we did leave in a hurry for a new place to stay. "

"Not a friendly and inviting hotel,spa closed,wasp nest by pool side,not kids friendly or catered for. We had to eat out 2 nights because food was not acceptable and closed on a Saturday night . Less toiletries knowing you had 3 guest in a room but provided 1bath wash, why?? Wine selections not very good or nice"

"This hotel is adorable. It’s comfortable modern inside of a traditional Tuscan building and it’s so so charming. The owners are charming too and they are on top of every last amenity. I were oils easily stay here again! I loved our stay "
