"It was perfection! The most picturesque view! Kids (5 & 6 yrs) were able to easily walk down stairs to the beach and then catch the shuttle bus back up to the room. Lovely market next door (with the kindest staff) meant we could cook for the kids, get them to bed early and enjoy a bottle of wine and antipasto patter on the balcony in the evenings to soak up every minute with that view. Mauro and the housekeeping staff at Palazzo Margherita were so kind, helpful and hospitable. Worth the splurge...

"We enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay here, up in the mountains with a fabulous view over Vesuvius. Both bedrooms had air con and we had use of a pool shared between 3 apartments. Although the apartment is dated, it had every we needed. Vincenzo made us feel very welcome and he lives in the apartment block so help is always on hand. "Pros: Excellent location. Walk from accommodation to the pier to catch the hydrofoil to Capri took us 5min through the elevators (€1). The staff were extremely helpful, especially Alessandro who took the pains to show us where the parking garage was (€18/day) and recommended us great restaurants. They have Netflix!! Cons: The bathroom shower leaked at times and minor flooding occurs. The heater function could be better."

"Excellent place to stay close to Pompei. Host was fantastic to deal with, very friendly and super helpful. The property was clean and well kept. Only a short walk to the train to get to pompei or sorrento. Guisseppe recommended a great restaurant as well, and Silvio and Tina made us a very delicious breakfast treat of chocolate and vanilla cream filled croissants which on their own make this a 10 star stay!. Overall the place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it."

"We stayed for 4 days at this lovely apartment and were so happy with the accommodations. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, plates and silverware. The bedrooms were immaculate with plenty of storage. The living room had lovely couches where we could visit in the evenings. We spent time on the balconies, taking in the life of the city. We were so happy to have stayed in this beautiful apartment."
