The staff were friendly and helpful and were made to feel very welcome especially by Massimo on our arrival which was quite late evening. The small town of Calolziocorte is very pleasant and the location of the hotel by the river is lovely. "Great location and in goid condition but terrible service prior to arrival - a code is required to access the property and instructions are to contact the owner at least 24 hours in advance. This is not easy as emails are ignored, phonecalls go unanswered and even hung up when you do get through. Signage from the street and within the building is also terrible.
