"This is such a great place to stay!! Clean and cozy, the property is close to downtown and has beautiful views. We saw lots of deer in the mornings roaming in the backyard. The bed was super comfortable and the recliners were absolute heaven. Elkin is such a fun town with lots to do. Shelton winery was our favorite stop of The Vine Line wine tour. Check out the local farmers market Saturday morning, definitely worth it. Southern on Main had the best dinner and the Railyard was suxh a great spot...

"Knowing nothing about the city, I was thrilled with the location of this charming apartment. We left our town temporarily after Helene, and it was great to park the car and walk to all the coffee shops and restaurants. The host made it easy to arrive; the info and keys we needed were right where he said. The decor and arrangements are accurate reflected by the photos in the listing. We stayed a week, worked remotely, and felt pleased with the stay."

"There is some work that needs to be done to this property. Seal on toilet needs fixed, it leaks. Because of the leak the floor has rotted underneath the linoleum and sewage seeped up. The place is furnished nicely. Once the bathroom is taken care of we would recommend it."

A few little problems. The TV remote batteries were all dead or the remotes didnt work so was unable to use the TV. "This property is very unique and worked great for our group of moms and daughters. It's spacious, has a well-euipped kitchen, easy parking, and is walkable to restaurants and breweries. We did have an issue with the alarm going off and no one (property owner or building owner) knew the password so that turned into a pretty big issue, but the owner was apologetic and refunded for the stress. Hopefully they have figured this out now."

"We stayed the week of Christmas with four adults and two dogs. This is a nicely remodeled apartment. Everything was clean and pretty much anything you need was provided. The host had provided bath wash and shampoo. The water pressure was great and even has a heat lamp in the bathroom. The kitchen was fully furnished and included creamer, sugar, coffee and hot chocolate. The washer and dryer worked great. This would be a great place for a long term stay for a couple or single.
