"It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. "I stayed with my two nephews who just turned 18. The location was great. Stores and restaurants right outside the entrance of the property. An 8 minute walk to the beach and the main area of El Tunco. We used the pool on property everyday. We enjoyed lounging in and around the pool. It was very quiet and peaceful.
