"We enjoyed our stay at Don Julian’s Resort! The place was clean, comfortable, and well equipped! The staff was great, we had some car trouble and they had no trouble helping us out. Our laundry was done the same day and returned to us well folded and nice and clean! "It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me.
