The unit we stayed in was the furthest from the beach and right by the road and we were woken up by barking dogs and street vendors selling produce on megaphones every morning. "

"It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. "The stay was excellent. The car is safe in gated community. The pool was clean and not cold. Nice to be right in front of the beach, though my unit was not facing the beach. The culture in that area includes EARLY morning truck vendors passing by blaring the items they were selling...didn't last long. Would definitely recommend this beautiful place. "

"I stayed with my two nephews who just turned 18. The location was great. Stores and restaurants right outside the entrance of the property. An 8 minute walk to the beach and the main area of El Tunco. We used the pool on property everyday. We enjoyed lounging in and around the pool. It was very quiet and peaceful.
