"This was an excellent value for the money location with big rooms, kitchen, bathroom ….. the biggest room so far we have stayed in during our vacation in Japan. I would highly recommend it for the location only a block or two from the train station, close walking distance to restaurants and unique shops. The beds are very comfortable although I don’t care for the pillows so I have been sleeping on the throw pillows. Unfortunately I picked up a nasty virus and have spent the last three days convalescing in the room. So disappointing but at least I’m comfortable."

Really nice Ryokan style facility - shoes off at the entrance, Tatami mats throughout, group and individual onsens on the top floor with views of the city And the breakfast buffet was an impressive array of eastern and western foods. "

I also enjoyed the experience of the hot springs and would higly recommend anyone if they would be staying in Takayama, to come to this hotel."
