"I've been travelling in hostals since 35 years. I have never seen so dirty rooms. The place is great, but I felt really not comfortable, and I moved out from hostal as soon as I was able to do. The patio is great, the peole nice, but the rooms have to be redone totally. It's definitly awfull. And I'm not talking about the bathrooms."

"The hostel is in a great location and it's very cute. The people who work there are nice and helpful. It's very nice they have someone there 24/7. I got a single room with private bathroom and my room was right next to the stairway. I was lucky because I had a meshed window in addition to the two small windows on the door, but the room still gets very stuffy because of lack of airflow. There is a fan but even at low it's very strong and blows directly at the bed, it would be hard to sleep like...

"Claudia was helpful. They have much difficulty with English, here. We needed our AC unit turned down because it was so cold, and they turned it off. We could never seem to explain we needed it turned back on, but at a more comfortable temperature. Be aware that if you stay here, you may have some communication issues that will effect your comfort. Breakfast was okay. "

After looking she found the reservation I had made almost 2 months ago she said it was their mistake. "I HIGHLY recommend this hostal if you're staying in Antigua. The beds are so comfortable and they each come with their own fan, light and outlet. The facilities and common area were kept pretty clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I loved that it's like a family environment. They plan activities like movie nights and there are often people playing games in the evening. So you can choose to keep to yourself or socialize. "It's a small guesthouse in a gated-community near the airport, and is protected by security. There is no 24 hour reception, so if you're arriving early or at night contact them and let them know in advance so they know when to expect you. The watcher doesn't speak English well. There's no room service (it's just a room) but it's safe and very clean. There is a microwave, coffee and hot water available in the common area, and the TV is connected to streaming services. "
