"In general the property is nice and spacious. The location is great, the view is amazing. However there were a few things that overshadowed the good parts and thus will keep us from booking again. 1) the listing is not accurate. The “double sided gas log fireplace” is not usable for guests. Huge bummer. The kayak paddles were locked up, not sure if that was bc it’s not summertime or if there is some magic key we couldn’t locate. 2) the house was NOT clean when we arrived. There was so much dog...

"The cleaning crew was just finishing up as we arrived and they were so nice and, most importantly, very thorough with their cleaning. The view of the water was beautiful. The kitchen is the most fully-stocked kitchen we've ever experienced in a rental. We'd definitely come back."

"We loved our stay at this historic farmhouse in Culpeper. The location was perfect, halfway between Leesburg and Charlottesville and near central Virginia destinations. The listing and photos are accurate. Beds are very comfortable. First floor bedroom worked well for our family. Kitchen very well stocked, we even did some Christmas baking. Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and parks. Yard was great for our dog. Recommended for family and friend groups who appreciate historic homes....

"Property is wonderful. Lots of extras there to enjoy. The OWNERS have done an amazing job with this property. Vacasa system of a 1-800 # to get questions asked is beyond frustrating. They do not give you the local agents direct line until the day the rental starts. So many issues dealing with them. We love the house but may have second thoughts on renting any property mng by them in the future"

"What a gem Lake Anna is. We visited from PA and could not have been happier. The home was clean upon arrival and the kitchen had what we needed for the week. It was cozy and definitely shouted lake life. I loved the rooftop deck! We enjoyed the included kayaks. Grocery store was very close. We rented a boat, visited a winery, and enjoyed great food. The weather was sunny and warm, it was what our family needed. Thank you and we will be back. "
