"Really lovely ryokan and onsen with beautiful ocean views. The futons were very comfortable, as well. It's a little outside of Wakayama city (about 30 minutes/¥3500 by taxi), but there is a nearby bus and they have a parking area if you are driving. The staff speaks a little English, but don't expect the same level of English that you might get at a larger, urban hotel. Overall, it was very relaxing and I would definitely recommend it."

"The hotel is part of the group and we are allowed to access the onsen in other hotels of the group. It is very fruitful to try all different onsen. All the hotels of the group are connected with pathway. One good point is that this hotels allow to choose yukata pattern. The staff is very nice and helpful. The stay is value for the money."

"Friendly ryokan style hotel with onsen and hot-stone sauna. Our room had a nice outdoor shower and private onsen. The restaurant served amazing food. It’s a popular family onsen, so expect it to be lively, especially during weekends. Absolutely recommended. "

"Not much to do around this area, hotel is clean and traditional. The breakfast/ dinner was more than enough to satisfy the appetite. The hot springs onsen smelled like a urinal. Service was great but we didn't get to dine in our rooms at the traditional tables."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. Our kids were very excited because the room was very large. I had a great night's sleep - I hope to stay longer next time. The bath was great, too. I used to live in this area, so it was really great to be back in the local area. It was also great to stay in a very authentic Japanese area, a much more interesting experience for my family than staying in a hotel. Also, there is a great beach area about 15 minutes away on foot. "It was 15 mins walk from the nearest station. It was dark and we got lost. 😅 Also the wall was so thin. We were able to hear everything what the outside people said at the car park next to the house. It was at 5am and someone opened the car door, started the engine and even we heard the GPS navigation voice. (GPS system in Japanese).
