The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short and easy six-minute walk to the stunning beaches. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond, even preparing a delicious breakfast for our early 5:00 AM safari. The food was fabulous, and the hospitality made our stay even more special. This is truly a wonderful hotel with an outstanding team—highly recommend! "

"D Canal was the highlight of our hotel stays in Sri Lanka. The decoration at the hotel was beautiful and unique. The chef made his own Mango, papaya and lime jam which was to die for. It was definitely the tastiest breakfast we had during our trip. The pool was very relaxing and the staff couldn’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. There is a free tuk, tuk to and from the property from 10am to 7pm which was very generous. I wish we had stayed longer and will definitely be returning. "
