It’s a good location for walking the city to historical sites and restaurants and shopping. The host ombretta is a charming woman who has lived there all her life and made us feel very welcome. She made the whole visit special. "

"Our stay at Corte Stellata was amazing. The apartment was spotlessly clean, cosy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with everything we needed for our 5 night stay. It was very quiet and in an idyllic countryside setting. Our lovely hosts, Emanuela and Gabriele, were available if we needed anything and provided us with a wonderful bottle of Merlot wine when we arrived, which was delicious and much appreciated. "The property was in a lovely, quiet location in the historic centre of Ferrara. We enjoyed a comfortable, quiet stay. The only hitch was that we had not realised that the single bedroom is about four small flights of stairs down from the rest of the house. Both my husband and I require a toilet on the same floor as a bedroom. We also sleep in separate bedrooms. This was resolved by using the sofa bed. Beautiful clean apartment within walking distance to the grocery store and a short drive to several delicious local restaurants. Host even arranged a private pasta making class to be held in the apartment which was a highlight of our trip! Look forward to returning."
