"The Five Bells is a charming Inn in an idyllic setting. It lived up to all expectations and the exceptional facilities and staff made our two night stay very memorable. "Accommodation, food, wine choice, staff were all excellent. Our room met our requirements. One small thing that we appreciated was that the bottom sash window had not been painted shut like so many others we've visted. Eastry is an excellent place to park your car and use public transport to visit Deal, Sandwich, Dover and Canterbury relieving the need to drive and find parking"

However the listing was misleading - the restaurant doesn't function midweek, and they don't do breakfast either during the week. I was walking, and didn't want to walk more miles to eat. It's not hard to provide a cold breakfast. So make sure you check whether they're doing food if it matters to you. "
