"This is small and gorgeous. If you want to hang out and relax this is the place to be. The staff are fabulous. As soon as we pushed our luggage out of the door of our accommodation staff nearby rushed over to take it for us; they are attentive and very helpful. "Overall, you get a lot for your money with breakfast included. Sleeping in a tent is obviously very simple accomondation which we expected but what really surprised us was the loud people around us making noise until 3 in the morning. For a place like this we really expected some peace and quiet and at least a rule that says that it should be quiet after a certain time. Its really a shame that this ruined our nights here so we had to leave one day earlier. The owner payed us back for that night...

"Well... there was not stay. We arrived to the hotel and they had just overbooked the hotel and we found ourselves, me and my friend, and another couple... on the Street just before New Year. We did contact hotels.com and they were not able yo relocate us so we were just on the Street, ended sleeping in a semi private home without bathroom and thanks we found that. Amazing. "This place was amazing, we stayed for 4 days. Its a little difficult to find cause it goes into some small streets. Transportation isn't easily accessible, but the staff coordinates the transport anytime on your behalf whether its a tricycle or a private van. I reccommend taking the tricycle if you're brave enough and looking to save a significant amount of money. El Nido proper is about 25-30 mins away by tricycle and 15-20 by van. "Many thanks to Uli & Rose for being excellent hosts, they made us feel like we were ‘part of the family’ The views from the balcony were spectacular, the rooms are large, have air-con and with smart TV. The shower/restroom also very spacious. We spent the evenings at the bar interacting with other guests and the hosts. There was also a good choice of delicious on the menu. We also opted for the breakfast included option. We also took advantage of the chariot/shuttle service, that took us into El Nido town and to the next beach… free of charge and included within the price. I personally recommend the Island Hopping, if you want to see some spectacular views of, and want to visit the beautiful lagoons, just ask Rose or Uli for details. They will also arrange transport too. The Reef Strand Resort is like a sparking hidden treasure, and my partner and I are already looking forward to visiting again in 2025. A special thank you to Jima, Angel, Jizreal and Jona, and all of the employees that welcomed us, took care of us and looked after us, during our stay. "
