House had all the amenities and a beautiful spot on the river. Beds were very comfortable and we appreciated two king sized bedrooms! Listing was accurate and we got to see the neighborhood herd of elk several times! "

"We booked for 8 but there was one less bed than the pictures showed leaving one person to sleep on the couch in the living room. It took a few hours for the house to warm up as the heat was off when we arrived and its baseboard heat so slow to warm up and it was cold. It's nice and quite there but the driveway was difficult to turn around in. Overall good stay for the price. "

"Adventure awaits at this Packwood home. Convenient to Mt. Rainier and amenities for your stay Lovely walking trails in your backyard. We loved the waterfall on the trail. The home is as described. Communication with the owner was great. The bunkhouse was an added bonus. "

"The village retreat is a beautiful home with very thoughtful amenities. The welcome basket was full of goodies and a great start to the stay. This is a great place to stay for families with tweens and teens as we had ample usage of the ping pong table, croquet set, chess set, and fire pit. The coffee/tea set up is amazing with an easy to use espresso machine and drip coffee maker as well as an electric kettle with many tea varieties.
