Very unique property, allot bigger than it looks, it was a very hot weekend and the window air conditioning had a hard time keeping up. Very well stocked. Would stay again. Plenty of room for a family or 2 couples.

We visited family in a neighboring community and this cottage was perfect to accommodate our family. The house was as described, with a charming interior and decor, and stocked with all the amenities we needed. Hope to be back again for a longer stay and more time to explore the local shops!

Quaint property in the heart of Mineral Point
We loved being able to stay just a few blocks from downtown Mineral Point. Early warm weather had us wishing things had been cleaned up and ready on the outside of the property but it's understandable that in May in Wisconsin things may or may not be ready.

Lovely Spot in a Darling Town!
No pictures could do this cottage justice. It's charming, spacious, and cozy. Kitchen was very well stocked if you'd like to cook during your stay. The town was a perfect destination town with great spots to eat, shop, and walk. Couldn't have been happier with our stay!

We stayed for three nights. It was a very peaceful home. The historic character of the home really made us wonder how life would have been in 1850. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for an escape.

A Great Fishing Retreat
We were so happy with the property after a long day lf fishing the area. Perfectly equipped for getting meals together and settling in. The host made sure we had everything we needed to access the house before we got there regardless of me having trouble with lack of cell service while out for the day. Overall we had a great stop and would recommend the house to anyone visiting Mineral Point.

Anniversary getaway
Cottage on Clowney was a lovely getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cottage was located on a quiet street in Mineral Point, WI. It's a historic house with much of the original charm. The owners made us feel very welcome and the house was well appointed with anything that we needed. We had a lovely weekend!

Charming 170-year old Cornish cottage with modern convenance's. Responsive host. As the listing states, must use a narrow set of stairs to get to the bedrooms and kitchen, but not a problem for us, 65 and 63 years old.

A Cozy Little Slice of History
My partner and I stayed here for our second time as we just ADORE this property. The house is clean with comfy beds and darling decor. You get to learn about the history of the home. There are board games to play and coffee available. We had steak dinner at High Ridge as recommended and it was sooo good. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We've stayed many places and this is on our favorites list!

Central mineral Point
This is a wonderful old property. Historic Mineral Point construction. There’s a nice box in the property explaining its history. Everything in the center of town is walkable, including Pendarvis and for us the wordlanders gathering. I hope I’m able to return.

Amazing!
The cottage is beautiful & a perfect place to stay in Mineral Point. Unfortunately, we spent so much time outside the cottage we didn't get to enjoy all it had to offer. I would have liked to have a relaxing cup of coffee outside on the patio, but we didn't have the time. The cottage would be the perfect place to visit Wisconsin in the fall & watch the leaves change color. We'll definitely be back!

We were pleased with our ck in and stay. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Our group was all over 70 and one felt a little apprehensive about the rustic stairway with a couple stair heights that were not the same as the others. The beds, bath and kitchen were all on the second floor so coming and going for us was limited.
