"We stayed during Spring Break and visited the Tyler Zoo, the artist shops in Edom, and several thrift & antique stores. Rosie's Retreat is in easy driving range of several little towns. We loved being greeted by Rosie & her friends each time we arrived at the cottage. Comfortable beds, nice walking shower, a full size kitchen, and plenty of space in the living area to relax. "This property was everything we wanted in our weekend stay for Trade Days in Canton. It was such a relaxing and comfortable stay. The porch was covered which really helped when we wanted to sit outside with the rain. So many birds to watch with all the feeders close by. I would make the following recommendations...sweep the outside of the cabin...it had A LOT of cobwebs. I would also stock just a couple of other items in the kitchen that would have been most helpful...namely foil and a bit of cooking oil. Maybe some small packets of sugar for the coffee.
