"Incredible. Such a wonderful place to stay in the Mindo area. Really tucked away in the forest but only a 20-25min walk or $3 cab to the town. We stayed in the upper level of the lodge which was wonderfully positioned to watch the birds. Excellent service really recommend. "

"I honestly choose a resort, but I accidentally choose this area. However, I would recommend for those who are low budget travelers but who are willing to take a break and rest in their amazing hot springs. "Important: This hotel is now called the Tagara. It is tough to find things in Ecuador and having the wrong name on the signs does not help. This locale is beautiful, the pool gorgeous, and the staff, especially the general manager, Bernard, are wonderful. But this is more of a corporate retreat in style. However, a great escape from Quito or a great place to spend a night when making the drive from the coast to Quito. For Westerners I think the nightly stay with included meals is a fair price....
