"While I booked this hotel, it is currently under renovations. I wish Cesar would have let me know before as I arrived in the dark with my Uber driver telling me that this is not a safe area. "Manuela is so friendly, accomodating & helpful! We enjoyed a few walks into Mindo center from the location & even from Mariposa Butterfly back. It feels safe, convenient & authentic. We enjoyed some lemongrass tea from the garden (on invitation to use the garden fruit & herbs) The Yumbosa Chocolate tour in town is a treat as well. Thank you!"

"VRBO let us make a reservation when the house was already booked! We got there and the house was occupied! The house was far away from the town center (not minutes away like advertise), very difficult access. Very secluded and not clear directions of how to get there. We had to start looking for other hotel that day. Fortunately Mindo has very beautiful places to stay. Very scary experience nonetheless."

"The property was ideal and as described. The only things we could have used was a fan and more mosquito spray! We were walking distance to the butterfly garden which was spectacular as well as a chairlift going up the mountain for a waterfall tour.
