As you step inside, you are greeted by a warm and inviting interior, complete with comfortable furnishings, full kitchen, wifi, air-conditioning in the living room and fans in each of two bedrooms and the bunkie.

Step out onto the screened-in porch or onto one of two outdoor decks, one of which is complete with a five-person hot tub, perfect for soaking and relaxing after a long day of adventure. Picture yourself sinking into the bubbling water, surrounded by the serene beauty of the forest.


But the real highlight of this cabin is just outside the door and down the stairs: the river. Enjoy swimming in the river with its varying water levels, depending on the time of year, always providing a delightful swimming experience. Enjoy the fun of jumping on the lily pad, bask in the sun on the west-facing dock for long sunny days and stunning sunsets, or, if you're seeking a bit of excitement, float down the river! Bring your own life jackets. Peaceful river with no motorized boats. The river's gravel bottom ensures a comfortable footing, making water shoes optional, though they can add a bit of extra comfort.

The property also features a large fire pit area, complete with Adirondack chairs and benches and a pizza oven, too. (one basket of firewood is provided) Adjacent is a double picnic table area, well-lit for evening meals enjoyed alfresco with good company. Have fun playing croquet, washer toss or cornhole, all provided. Memories in the making!

The cozy living room provides tv with DVD player and many movies to choose from as well as many boardgames for hours of fun! Or snuggle up in the reading chair with a good book.

Looking for something to do off property? The Minden Wild Water Preserve, Horseshoe Falls and Ritchie Falls are lovely to visit or do some shopping in downtown Minden or nearby Haliburton. Plenty of shopping and eating delicious treats! There's also nearby hiking trails, go-karting, mini-golf, Kinmount Cinemas and ice cream at the Kawartha Dairy.

Ice machine, microwave, toaster, stove, microwave, full fridge, small drink fridge, slow cooker, drip coffee maker, propane BBQ, paper towel, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, handsoap, fitted sheet on each bed are provided.

***We provide a fitted sheet and pillow but you will need to bring sheets/blankets/sleeping bags and towels as we do not have laundry facilities on-site. Please note: As there is no garbage pickup, you will need to remove garbage and recycling at the end of your visit.
